In a significant boost to healthcare services, Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) Members of Parliament have donated advanced dental equipment to the Special Forces Command’s (SFC) Dr. Ronald Bata Memorial Hospital in Entebbe.
The donation, valued at Shs45 million, includes a state-of-the-art dental unit machine that will enhance dental care for troops and civilians.
Brig. Gen. Charity Bainababo, representing the Minister of State for Trade, led the delegation that handed over the equipment. She emphasized the UPDF Parliamentary caucus’s commitment to improving the welfare of troops.
“We are proud to contribute to the well-being of our soldiers and the community,” Brig. Gen. Bainababo said. “This effort demonstrates our caucus’s dedication to supporting health service delivery.”
