The East African Community (EAC) has taken a significant step towards promoting quality excellence among its member states, with the successful hosting of the EAC Regional Quality Awards 2024 in Uganda.
The awards ceremony, organized by the Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS), aimed to recognize the outstanding achievements of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Large Enterprises (LEs) in quality excellence.

This year’s regional awards ceremony featured nominees who emerged as winners from National Quality Award competitions conducted across EAC member states, including Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
