Uganda and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) have enjoyed cordial relations which has been cemented in the 35 years of the NRM rule.
While paying a courtesy call to the NRM deputy secretary general Richard Todwong this Friday afternoon at the Party’s national secretariat, the deputy chief of the Mission of the DPRK to Uganda Mr Ri Hung Guk expressed his gratitude for the warm gesture and support the NRM continues to accord the DPRK through the Party’s flagship newspaper The Public Lens.
At the time the Western media misreport about DPRK, The Public Lens, through its online platforms, has offered true and accurate reporting about the DPR of Korea.
Mr. Ri did not hide his sentiments about the continued bullying of the DPR of Korea and other states considered not following to America’s hegemony, stating that the Korean people are not afraid of any difficulties since they have the distinguished Leader H.E. Kim Jong Un in high esteem, and the mighty of the single-hearted unity.
Mr. Ri commended the achievements made by the NRM headed by H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in the past 35 years, for the prosperity of the Uganda and its people.
On his part, the NRM deputy secretary general affirmed the Party’s unwavering support and solidarity to the DPRK.
The deputy chief of the Mission of the DPRK to Uganda was first received by Hon Charles Egou, the executive assistant to the secretary general.
