Mirundi On Kadaga Woes: If You Kept Obore As Your Barking Dog U Wouldn’t be in all these problems (Adds MPs Wanted 100m)

Speaker Kadaga

Tamale Mirundi has this Tuesday morning used his NBS show to assert that Speaker Kadaga is actually a patriot who is only facing some PR troubles currently because she let go of her effective Communications Director Chris Obore who “just like myself was a combative journalist who takes no prisoners and knows how to level off the Mafia without fear or favor.” Mirundi claimed it was a mistake for Kadaga to lose a fighter of the Obore credentials in the circumstances she did adding that the gap created by his acrimonious departure is very glaring for everyone to notice. “You see for us combative journalists take no prisoners. We tell you off first no matter who you are and deal with the consequences later and in the end, the mafia will fear to cross our path or the Principal we are hired to speak for at that point in time,” said Mirundi a long time Kadaga ally.

Going forward, he advised, Kadaga must use her clout and resources she has at her disposal to ensure Parliament has its own media outlets to effectively counter the narrative in the mainstream media which he claimed serves interests of the same mafia that is out to get and politically deflate her. He added that Kadaga was now an endangered species to the extent “I don’t even know where she is hiding right now because even MPs have turned against her because they actually wanted Shs100m and now hate her because she insisted it had to be Shs20m because she is such a patriot.” That the MPs have resorted to threatening her they will protest by backing Jacob Oulanyah as next Speaker, a position she still wants.

Mirundi proceeded to name an influential opposition MP, who sits on the budget committee, whose photos he claimed he has when he was inside Kadaga’s office banging tables and assuring her of dire consequences if she cuts their COVID allocation from Shs100m to mere Shs20m. “He knows I have all this proof and he has even been sending to me emissaries that I don’t expose him but because I’m self-made, I will keep exposing him to the public because that man is double-faced,” Mirundi said. Mirundi also bashed Kadaga critic Ofwono Opondo whom he likened to a man who keeps the graveyard and only “gets to eat some food when members of the extended family come for burial after which they run away with all the money collected in condolences leaving him hungry and yawning for the rest of the year.”

He added that just like Museveni, Kadaga was surrounded by Mafias who are proxies for interests working to politically bring her down. “Now imagine this wannabe ka-MP called Gerald Karuhanga taking the matter to Court. Where was he when the matter was being debated? He is being used by the mafia to use courts of law to undermine Parliament where he works thinking it’s about Kadaga,” Mirundi said of the Court application Gerald Karuhanga and Jonathan Odur filed in Court prompting judicial officer Sarah Langa to injunct the issuance of the Shs20m to each legislator. Mirundi defended the Shs10bn for the MPs and advised the ranting voters and members of the public to blame themselves because they allowed to be bribed to send unserious politicians to the House. “You should also blame this to the CA because what you make your MPs do these days has ideally never been the role of the MP,” said Mirundi who had initially declined discussing the Shs10bn saying it was too early for him to give his views. Mirundi also commended President Museveni for throwing veiled burbs at the MPs over the Shs10bn during his televised COVID address on Sunday. “Those who have eyes and ears must have realized how the President disapproved of the current MPs while praising scientists like doctors and engineers implying voters would be in order to prioritize them while casting their vote in 2021.”

Mirundi also defended his man Apollo Aponye whose quality of food and beans he praised as good enough by UN standards-and greatly demonized businessman Mandela of Mandela Millers and his lawyer Apollo Makubuya whose public standing as Oweekitibwa he repeatedly disputed. He advised Museveni, who he said had successfully been blackmailed by Besigye’s PG during this COVID period, to find means to have enough food to feed the economically distressed in the entire Uganda as opposed to focusing on just Kampala and Wakiso. “Time has come for government to negotiate with a country called Pakistan to supply us with enough rice on credit so that we feed the entire country and can pay the money later since we are very broke right now. Not feeding the starving Ugandans is going to cause us political problems and the earlier the better,” asserted Mirundi who also had no kind words for CIID Director Grace Akullo accusing her of maliciously investigating REA ED Eng Godfrey Turyahikayo over “nonexistent corruption scandals.”
