As a national guider, I would like to inform you that the country cannot allow any malicious propaganda based on sectarian and ethnic machinations. The Constitution in Article 8A guides that the country is operated on the principles of National Interest and Common Good. What this means that Uganda overrides smaller issues that are inimical to its prosperity.
- This should be harmonised by citizens adherence to article xxix about duties of a citizen. It’s yourDuty to take part in elections, this is the honorable right of each Ugandan citizen, and you have the right of refusal as well but we should learn how to leave in peaceful co-existence with one another.
We should know that It is the duty of the state to guide all leaders, present and prospective to guard against sowing any seeds of discord. Let the Constitution and other guidelines prevail on us to take the right course.
