New Chapter in Uganda-Netherlands Relations: Ambassador Quispel Presents Credentials

A new era of cooperation and development has begun between Uganda and the Netherlands, as Ambassador-designate Frederieke Quispel presented her credentials to Minister of Foreign Affairs Gen Abubakher Jeje Odongo.
The meeting marked the beginning of Ambassador Quispel’s tenure, which is expected to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Gen Odongo welcomed Ambassador Quispel, expressing confidence that her experience and expertise would enhance the existing relations between Uganda and the Netherlands. “I have confidence that Ambassador Quispel’s tenure will further fortify the strong bilateral relations between Uganda and the Kingdom of the Netherlands,” he said.
The discussions between Ambassador Quispel and Gen Odongo focused on key areas of cooperation, including agriculture, education, and support for civil society organizations.
Both parties emphasized the importance of a multifaceted partnership to achieve shared developmental goals.
Ambassador Quispel brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having previously worked in Burundi and Rwanda.
Her appointment is expected to usher in a new chapter of cooperation and development between Uganda and the Netherlands.
