President Museveni Honors Deborah Katuramu’s 49 Years of Distinguished Service

President Yoweri Museveni and First Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni officiated at Deborah Katuramu’s retirement ceremony at State House Entebbe.
Katuramu, Deputy Head of Public Service, was praised for her exemplary and corruption-free record.
President Museveni presented her with a Presidential award, commending her service.
With 49 years of tenure, Katuramu served as a senior civil servant, including Deputy Head of Public Service and Deputy Secretary to Cabinet.
Vice President Jessica Alupo and Head of Public Service Lucy Nakyobe lauded Katuramu’s efficiency, professionalism, and mentorship.
Nakyobe praised Katuramu’s dedication, wisdom, and humility, which greatly contributed to the Public Service’s growth.
Katuramu expressed gratitude for her opportunities, acknowledging support from Nakyobe.
As she retires, Katuramu leaves a legacy of excellence, profoundly impacting Uganda’s public service.
