Vice President Alupo Unveils CN Sugar Factory in Namayingo

Launch of the CN Sugar Factory in Namayingo district has brought jubilation to the community, marking a significant milestone in the region’s development.
Vice President Jessica Alupo, represented by the 3rd Deputy Prime Minister, Hajjat Rukia Isanga Nakadama, praised the investment by CN Sugar Company, calling it a “remarkable day for the people of Namayingo.”
The factory’s construction has been a long-awaited development for the community, and its launch is expected to bring employment opportunities and economic growth to the area.
Vice President Alupo encouraged CN Sugar to explore other opportunities in Namayingo, citing the district’s rich mineral resources.
Leaders in Namayingo district commended the government for supporting the CN sugar mill, pledging to mobilize support for President Yoweri Museveni and the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.
“Our dear Vice President, we are overjoyed today. It’s a remarkable day for the people of Namayingo,” said Chairperson Ronald Sanya.
The launch ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including the Resident District Commissioner, David Kulaba, who expressed relief that the factory’s construction was finally underway.
Namit Patel, the proprietor of CN Sugar Factory, thanked President Yoweri Museveni for allowing them to invest in Uganda, revealing that they have invested close to $35 million and plan to employ over 2000 local people.
The CN Sugar Factory launch is a sweet victory for Namayingo, bringing joy and jobs to the community.
As the factory begins production, it is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy and improve the lives of the people in the region.
