Another name for Satan is Devil. In most religions including Christianity, Jewish and Islamic religion; Satan is referred to as a powerful evil being or spirit. Satan can be seen in different parts of the Holy bible and is known to be evil. Satan is believed to be once an angel of God, who got proud and that made God chased him out of the heavens. It is believed that nothing good comes out of him and he has only come to steal, to kill and to destroy.
Satan is limited in actions but most Christians don’t know that. Every little thing we push the blame to the devil, every mistake we blame the devil. Today we are going to be looking at the limits at which Satan can go in life of Gods people. The following are various things you never knew Satan cannot do:
1. Satan cannot know what is on your mind
Satan doesn’t have the ability to know what is going through your mind but most of us think he does. Satan has being on ear for long, so he can predict our movements. Never let anyone deceive you that the devil knows what is going through your mind. Only God knows what is going through your mind as recorded in of John 2:24-25
24. But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men,
25. And had no need that anyone should testify of man, for He knew what was in man.
2. Satan cannot tempt you without Gods permission
Before the devil tempts any true child of God he must first of all take permission from God. This is clearly seen in the case of Job. The devil had to take permission from the God before he could afflict Job. Job 1:8-12
8. Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”
9. So Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing?
10. Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
11. But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!”
12. And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.”So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.,

3. Satan cannot force you to sin
Sin can simply be defined as the transgression of the law. Like I said earlier most Christians always attribute any evil they commit to the devil; but the truth remains that the devil cannot and will not force any Christian to sin but rather, he will entice or five you reasons why you should. Adam and Eve is a typical example; Satan did not force them, he only gave them reasons to sin.
4. Satan cannot get the wicked save
The sole aim of the devil is recorded in John 10:10 which is to kill, to steal and to destroy. The only one with the power of saving anyone is Christ Jesus. In Christianity being saved means being born again, which is of course very impossible without Jesus Christ
5. Satan cannot get the weakest saint
A saint is a person recognized for being holy by the Christians because of the way he or she lives. The best way you can frustrate the activity of the devil is holy living. The devil is known as an accuser of the brethren. The moment God accepts you as his son no matter how weak you are it become impossible for the devil to get you John 10:28
28.And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
6. Satan cannot give life
When God created man it was his breath that gave man life. The devil has no power to give life spiritually nor physically. Like I said the life you live is as a result of Gods breath in you. Satan can’t give you that breath. Genesis 2:7
7. And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
7. Satan cannot eliminate the second coming of Jesus Christ
The second coming of Christ will definitely come; no matter our belief (if it’s true or not). The devil has no power to stop the second coming of Christ. We should all endeavor not to miss Christ coming because after that event, the world might not be pleasant.
8. Satan cannot escape the lake of fire
We all know that hell fire is created for the devil and his agents. The devil cannot escape the lake of fire neither can he become holy again to reign with the saint during the second coming of Christ. Most of you don’t believe in hell fire but that dose not change the truth.
9. Satan cannot be everywhere at the same time
Satan who is also the devil cannot be not omnipotent neither omnipresent. This attribute can only be exhibited by God. What the devil does is that he has agents (evil spirits) all over that help him carry out most of his assignment in different part of the world. Psalm 139:7-9
7. Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8. If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.
9. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,
