There was an attempted move by the NUP supporters to block the convoy of the President and NRM Flag bear H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as he headed to Kawumu this Monday afternoon to officially launch his campaigns.
The incident happened at Bwsise around Shell Petrol station when the NUP supporters cut off the road as they sighted the President’s convoy in a distance. We want to appreciate the fast response by the security agencies to disperse the rowdy crowd and enabled our candidate to drive throw without difficulty. As a Party we highly condemn these acts and we suspect the event organisers to have had a hidden motive.
The NRM Party warns the public, regardless of your political affiliation to desist from such unlawful acts.
