Hon. Ruth Katushabe, Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs and Translations has embarked on a mission to amplify President Museveni’s message of socio-economic transformation in Uganda.
She began by joining the Winners Mission Church Kitintale for a thanksgiving mass, where she urged the congregation to remain God-fearing and actively participate in the fight against poverty.
The church, led by Bishop Livingston Kayumba, was filled with key leaders of the Born-Again community in Kampala, including Nakawa East MP, Hon. Ronald Balimwezo.
Katushabe emphasized the importance of unity and transparency in achieving socio-economic transformation, reinforcing President Museveni’s vision.
She then proceeded to Ganda village, Bigasa Sub-county in Bukomansimbi District, where she addressed residents at their SACCO’s annual General Meeting.
Katushabe pledged unwavering support for the SACCO’s projects, highlighting the government’s focus on grassroots socio-economic transformation.
She commended the residents for their dedication to coffee farming, stressing its role in transforming livelihoods.
Katushabe reassured the community of her commitment to extending electricity to villages lacking access.
In both communities, Katushabe’s message was clear: embracing President Museveni’s vision, coupled with Godliness and unity, is crucial to defeating poverty and achieving national prosperity.
This aligns with the government’s efforts to address poverty alleviation, wealth creation, peace, environmental sustainability, and public health, as emphasized by President Museveni at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting
